The Prevention Network brings together professionals and activists from across Scotland working to prevent men’s violence against women to share expertise, information and good practice.

New bystander Project at YWCA. Young volunteers in Livingston are embarking on a new and exciting peer-led project.

Public Stalking Campaigner wins UK Award. Ann Moulds, founder of the campaign 'Action Scotland Against Stalking' has been awarded the prestigious Emma Humphries Memorial Prize.

Mentors in Violence Prevention. Scotland's Violence Reduction Unit is to run pilot programmes in schools, based on an American bystander model, designed to challenge attitudes to violence.

Refugee women’s voices raised at sell-out Scottish Refugee Council conference. Focusing on issues faced by refugee women, speakers at the conference called for the UK Government to pledge to improve its services for asylum-seeking and refugee women.

UK opts out of new EU gender-related directive. It was hoped that the new EU directive would give women seeking refuge from gender-related persecution greater protection.
